Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid license and credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist—Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience or familiarity with PreK or early childhood populations
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, staff, and families
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, evidence-based speech and language services to PreK students
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to support student success
- Develop, implement, and review IEPs and individualized therapy plans
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for communication disorders
- Engage with families and caregivers, providing guidance and resources
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
