A K-12 public school in Puyallup, WA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services for students in grades K through 12. This full-time, contracted position runs through the current school year ending June 12, 2026, and offers the opportunity to work directly within a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- DeliverSpeech-Language Pathology services to a caseload of approximately 45-50 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support effective communication and academic success
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
Qualifications:
- Current Washington State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or willingness to obtain licensure
- Valid fingerprint clearance through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) or willingness to complete fingerprinting requirements
- Experience working with school-aged children across a broad spectrum of speech and language needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic support within a school setting
