Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLP licensure required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and therapeutic best practices for school-aged children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Capacity to adapt techniques for diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication intervention services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Assess, diagnose, and document student speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Provide training and resources to educators and families as needed
- Monitor student outcomes and adjust strategies for optimal results
- Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with state and federal regulations
