Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children, K-12
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to a broad range of ages and developmental levels
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEP development, assessments, and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students with varied communication needs
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of student progress and services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to help shape educational goals
