School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Jewett City, Connecticut

Desired Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLP license
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 age groups and corresponding communication milestones
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and parents
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students based on IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to team decisions, and maintain compliance with school policies
- Offer consultative support to teachers and families for implementation of strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for each student on your caseload
