Travel School Speech Language Pathologist - Providence, Rhode Island

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support students from Kindergarten through 8th grade in a school setting located in Providence, RI. This travel position focuses on delivering specialized services to a caseload with behavioral needs, requiring strong expertise in managing diverse communication challenges in young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-8 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's communication and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies and positive behavioral interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and provide timely reports.
- Provide guidance and support to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or current CFY status.
- Valid SLP licensure suitable for school practice.
- Experience working as an SLP or SLPA in a school environment.
- Proficiency in addressing behavioral challenges alongside speech and language interventions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel.
