Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Powell, TN

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work independently
- Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with a variety of communication disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant SLP to deliver direct and indirect services to students with communication needs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Provide intervention and therapy individually or in small groups according to students’ needs
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Keep accurate records, progress notes, and comply with all documentation requirements
- Engage in ongoing professional development to best serve diverse student populations
