School Speech Language Pathologist - Poulsbo, Washington

Multiple full-time opportunities are available for enthusiastic, collaborative Speech-Language Pathologists to support school communities near Poulsbo, WA. Both traditional full-time (37.5 hours weekly) and slightly reduced full-time (.7 appointment) schedules are open. This role is in-person only, working directly with diverse caseloads across elementary through high school students.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active ESA certification and current Washington State SLP license are required
- Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI prior to assignment
- CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA strongly preferred
- Previous experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students
- Well-versed in both assessment and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders within educational frameworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy tailored to student IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and progress monitoring for students with varying caseloads (typically between 48-60)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams, teachers, and parents to support student success
- Develop, implement, and document individualized education plans
- Attend IEP meetings, staffings, and professional development activities as required
- Maintain organized records complying with state and district guidelines
