Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting working with children and adolescents
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and provide comprehensive evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and other school staff to support student success
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support to students with diverse communication needs
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and required compliance records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and revision of educational plans
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment
