A temporary Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a travel assignment in Portland, OR, covering March through the end of the school year (EOSY). This role is onsite at an elementary school setting, offering the opportunity to work four days in a general elementary school environment and one day in a specialized program. The position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in an elementary school and specialized program
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy for speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in pediatrics, preferably within early childhood education settings
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in school-based and specialized program environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location & Schedule:
- Portland, OR (onsite at school facilities)
- Travel assignment from March to the end of the school year
- 37.5 hours per week, four days at elementary school, one day in specialized program
