A full-time, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available working with an elementary caseload in Portland, CT. This contract role runs from February through the end of the school year, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive educational team.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Eligible or licensed for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or willingness to provide teletherapy services as needed
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to elementary students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the supportive learning environment
