Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in schools
  • Prior experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and case management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and organized approach to working with students and staff

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students in a K-12 environment
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for speech-only and secondary students
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
  • Maintain precise documentation, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
  • Provide guidance and resources to support speech and language development in classroom settings
