A travel Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available in Port Saint Lucie, FL, serving schools along the Southeast Florida Coast. This full-time position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, providing services within one to two schools depending on assignment. The role focuses on supporting students across various age groups in school settings, with caseloads reflective of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and interventions tailored to students’ needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with all school and district policies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings related to student support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active SLP licensure is required.
- Credentialed Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP) are highly preferred.
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are considered if supervision can be provided.
- Previous school-based experience is advantageous, especially working with diverse student populations.
- Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements for district credentialing.
