Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds ASHA certification and possesses an ESA credential with Washington State.
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with 3-5 year olds, including developmental preschool populations.
- Skilled in speech-language assessment and intervention for both individual and group settings.
- Background in healthcare, pediatric, teletherapy, and school-based SLP services is an asset.
- CFY candidates with appropriate credentials are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrates effective collaboration with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Organized, flexible, and dedicated to evidence-based, compassionate practice.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to early learners, including evaluations, direct therapy, and progress reports.
- Conduct child find screenings and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with families and educational staff to develop practical strategies supporting communication in classroom and home environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district requirements.
- Support itinerant students across designated settings, adapting approaches as needed for diverse needs.
