School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Port Orchard, Washington
Step into a rewarding opportunity making a difference in elementary students’ lives for the 2026-2027 academic year! Two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide essential support across two dynamic school sites in the Port Orchard area. These full-time roles are in-person only, spanning 7.5 hours per day (37.5 per week) and offer the chance to serve a diverse K-12 caseload. Caseloads are thoughtfully managed at a typical range of 48-60 students throughout the year, allowing you to focus on delivering meaningful, individualized care.
Preferred candidates will bring expertise in school-based SLP settings and a passion for empowering student communication.
Requirements:
- Hold current ESA and WA State SLP license
- Meet SLP-CCC credentialing
- Fingerprinted through OSPI prior to starting
- Demonstrate previous experience in an elementary or K-12 school environment
- Ability to manage varied caseloads while collaborating with faculty and families
- Committed to in-person, on-site support
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ communication needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student abilities
- Deliver therapy services using evidence-based practices
- Maintain diligent documentation and progress tracking
- Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
