School Speech Language Pathologist - Port Orchard, Washington

This full-time, in-person role (37.5 hours weekly) offers the chance to work across two engaging school sites, delivering critical support to young learners from kindergarten through 12th grade. With a manageable caseload capped at 48 (though some flexibility up to 60 may occur), you’ll make a real difference in students’ communication abilities and daily lives.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid Washington State SLP License
- Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential
- Cleared fingerprinting through OSPI
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP role (preferred)
- Passion for fostering communication growth in elementary-aged students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy to a diverse K–12 caseload
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate actively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Support and coach staff on best classroom communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Travel between two elementary locations within the district as part of your weekly routine
