A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school located in North Port, FL. This is a contract role requiring onsite presence to support students’ communication development and related needs. The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with prior school-based SLP experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to address student goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP credentials: CCC or CFY preferred.
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology settings.
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children.
  • Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
