Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Georgia SLP License and GA Professional Standards Commission certification (must be current and available before the start date)
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist, holding either CCC or Clinical Fellow (CF) status
- Experience in a school setting preferred, though recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to evidence-based practices and culturally responsive intervention
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers to maximize student outcomes
- Deliver therapy services onsite, in accordance with schedules and district needs
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates
- Support students across multiple school locations, adapting services as needed throughout the school year
