Qualified candidates possess the following:
- Active licensure as either an SLP (CCC preferred) or SLPA, with eligibility to work in Florida schools
- Experience supporting students in a school-based setting, ideally with K-12 populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and adaptability skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between multiple school locations during the work week
- Positive, collaborative approach to working with students, educators, and support teams
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services to students according to IEPs
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and documentation as required
- Collaborating with teachers and special education staff to develop and implement intervention plans
- Supporting a varied caseload and adapting therapies for diverse student needs
- Traveling to designated sites within the district as scheduled
