Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility/strong CFYs considered
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to administer, interpret, and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and document evaluation results
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide therapeutic intervention in both individual and group settings
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Educate and collaborate with teachers and families to support carryover of therapy strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development opportunities
