Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade for the upcoming academic year. This full-time role offers the chance to make a true impact, serving a diverse caseload of up to 60 students in a welcoming school environment located near Pleasanton, CA. The position spans from August 3rd through May 28th, following a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working with school-age children in TK–8th grade preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 60 students
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services across TK–8th grade students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Document progress, prepare and attend IEP meetings, and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
- Manage time and prioritize caseload efficiently within a full-time schedule
