Step into a rewarding contract position where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist makes a daily impact on TK-8th grade students. This full-time opportunity runs from August 3rd through May 28th, following a convenient 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday schedule—giving you evenings and weekends to recharge. Work with a manageable caseload of up to 60 students, providing essential services and seeing the difference you make in their communication and academic success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- California SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, TK-8th grade preferred.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff.
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to students with speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and participation.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and district requirements.
- Communicate progress and recommendations to families and educational staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings, helping guide educational strategies that support students’ growth.
- Organize and manage your caseload, ensuring service delivery across multiple grades and class settings.
