Pediatric SLP in Plattsburgh, NY
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents by delivering specialized speech and language therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders among K-12 students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
- Provide teletherapy services as needed to accommodate student accessibility.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and regulations.
- Ability to provide teletherapy services effectively.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent recent graduate experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
