Step into a pivotal role supporting the growth and communication development of elementary students for the 2026–2027 school year. An established district near McKinney, TX is searching for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver school-based speech and language services full-time. Your expertise will make a significant impact on a caseload of approximately 40 elementary-aged students, helping them achieve their academic and communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license (required)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) capability (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience providing speech-language evaluations, therapy, and IEP support, ideally in elementary settings
- Knowledge of school-based documentation and collaborative practices
- Reliable transportation for onsite assignments
- Strong organization and interpersonal communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to elementary students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to inform IEP development
- Develop and monitor tailored communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and student outcomes
Role Details:
- Full-time (40 hours/week), contract assignment for 2026–2027
- Onsite position supporting one or more school locations
- Caseload of approximately 40 students
- Virtual interview process (15-30 minutes)
