Provide specialized speech-language services as a bilingual (English and Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a public school district setting. This contract position is based on-site in Mesquite, Texas, with a hybrid work schedule allowing one remote day per week for report writing. The role entails serving an itinerant caseload, primarily supporting students in kindergarten through fifth grade across multiple campuses, with an office located at the Student Support Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments as a member of the district’s evaluation team.
  • Deliver individualized therapy services to students in K-5 within assigned schools.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including reports and progress notes, utilizing district resources such as test kits and digital tools.
  • Comply with district policies and state regulations in all aspects of service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (required).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
  • Experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an evaluation team.
