Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Naperville, Illinois

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active IL SLP-CCC credential
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Background working with pediatric or school-based populations
- Strong understanding of working with K-6th grade students, particularly children with autism
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop personalized intervention strategies, and deliver speech-language therapy for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance and recommendations for students’ speech and language needs
- Foster a supportive learning environment, helping students build confidence in their communication skills
