Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Illinois
A Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school serving self-contained Autism classrooms from early childhood through grade 5. This is a contract position based in Aurora, IL, offering a 35-hour workweek.
Location: Aurora, IL
Assignment: Elementary School - Self-Contained Autism (E.C. through grade 5)
Duration: Contract for the 2025-2026 School Year
Schedule: Full Time, 35 hours/week
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- ISBE Professional Educator License
- Credentials in Speech Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
- Experience with pediatric populations, school settings, and healthcare environments preferred
- Ability to provide effective services to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a self-contained classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rates: SLP-CCC ($55-$60/hr), SLP-CFY ($38-$40/hr)
