Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting communication and language development as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Pittsford, NY. Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- Current New York SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for a range of student needs and grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Evaluate students’ communication abilities and contribute to comprehensive assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide guidance and resources to educators on supporting speech/language needs in the classroom
