School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Piedmont, South Carolina

We’re seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services to a diverse group of students, ranging from grades 6 through 12. This full-time, contract position runs from August 6 through May 25, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour workweek.
The caseload encompasses 40-50 students and offers variety—no two days look the same. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to craft and deliver individualized therapy plans that address a broad spectrum of speech and language needs in a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for school-based practice (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Experience in educational settings with grades 6-12 preferred
- Ability to manage diverse, varied caseloads and develop engaging interventions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating easily with students, colleagues, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy approaches to best serve each student
- Consult with educators and staff to support learning accommodations
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
