Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) | Full-Time | Phoenix, AZ
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to join a supportive school-based team serving students from Pre-K through 6th grade. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working alongside experienced special education professionals and supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
Position Details
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- School-based setting
- Caseload: Pre-K through 6th grade
- Primarily serving 4 self-contained classrooms
- Supervise and collaborate with 2 SLPAs
- Shared caseload model with SLPA support
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide supervision and support to SLPAs in accordance with state and professional guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Eligible for or currently holding Arizona licensure
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
