Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Proficient in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech-language disorders
- Familiarity working with diverse student populations across elementary and high school levels
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with educators, parents, and support staff
- Ability to create and maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with IEP/504 plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support inclusive learning environments
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, targeting a range of speech-language objectives
- Educate families and staff on strategies to reinforce progress beyond therapy sessions
- Regularly document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary according to IEP goals
