Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
- Experience supporting school-aged children, including IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptable and comfortable working independently in a contract setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students according to prescribed IEPs
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in the evaluation process
- Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Document services, maintain compliance with school and state requirements
- Work closely with school staff and families to maximize student outcomes
- Support the creation of a safe, positive, and welcoming therapy environment
