Speech Language Pathologist in Houtzdale, PA

Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Pennsylvania state licensure or ability to obtain it
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, goals, and progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Offer guidance to teachers and families to support carryover of skills
- Foster an engaging, positive, and supportive environment for student growth
