Bring your expertise as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist to empower middle and high school students in a dynamic, urban school environment near Philadelphia, PA. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to make a real difference, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 10, 2027. With a 35-hour work week and a consistent onsite schedule, you’ll collaborate closely with staff and students alike.
What we’re seeking:
- Valid SLP-CCC and eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure
- Prior experience in school settings, particularly with middle and high school populations
- Experience and comfort working in urban districts
- Ability to complete all required PA clearances
- Commitment to working onsite; virtual placement is not available
- Reliability with transportation to the assignment location
- Flexibility to work any time between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM, without accommodations for scheduling
- Comfort collaborating with district staff and adapting to the school’s culture and environment
In this role, you will:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of middle and high school students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and document student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on student support plans
- Maintain compliance with school, district, and state requirements
- Engage proactively in school meetings and professional development as needed
