Qualifications:

  • Active AL SLP License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working within school settings, especially with K-12 populations
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload with professionalism and empathy
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and state guidelines
  • Consult with staff regarding effective communication strategies and interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student growth

Compensation for this contract role ranges from $45 to $50 per hour, for 37.5 hours each week across a standard school schedule. The assignment begins August 10, 2026 and continues through May 27, 2027. More details about caseload specifics will be discussed during the interview process.
