Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active Georgia Speech Language Pathologist license required
  • SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads valued
  • Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy for elementary-aged students
  • Comfortable supporting a diverse range of student needs in an educational setting
  • Experience (or interest) in teletherapy is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services for K-5th grade students
  • Conduct assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Offer guidance to colleagues and contribute to a positive learning environment
  • Caseload size and specific needs will be determined upon assignment
