Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Georgia Speech Language Pathologist license required
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads valued
- Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy for elementary-aged students
- Comfortable supporting a diverse range of student needs in an educational setting
- Experience (or interest) in teletherapy is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services for K-5th grade students
- Conduct assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer guidance to colleagues and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Caseload size and specific needs will be determined upon assignment
