Serving in a vibrant and collaborative school setting, you’ll utilize your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology while enjoying consistency with a Monday through Friday schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Georgia (SLP, SLP-CCC required)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Comfortable developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Excellent collaboration skills to work alongside teachers, parents, and other specialists
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate elementary-aged students to identify speech, language, or swallowing disorders
- Design and deliver targeted therapy sessions aligned with individual IEP goals
- Maintain thorough, timely records of progress and communicate outcomes with the educational team and families
- Consult with educators and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and advocacy for student needs
