Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CCC-SLP certification
- Florida SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong evaluation, intervention, and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Dedication to fostering student progress and individualized growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with IEP teams
- Screen and assess students to determine eligibility and service needs
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress reporting
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Participate in meetings and contribute insights to student plans
- Provide direct in-person therapy at the assigned school site
