This flexible, part-time contract opportunity invites skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP, SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to work with small caseloads of young learners, fostering academic and social success.
The role spans approximately 20 hours per week from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027. At the first location, you’ll provide speech and language services to about 10 students, while the second site involves supporting 3 students in a self-contained classroom. The age groups served range from 6–9 years and 10–13 years, allowing you to make a meaningful impact at crucial developmental stages.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA in the state
- Previous school-based experience or strong interest in educational settings
- Expertise in speech, language, and communication disorders relevant to elementary and middle school populations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy to support designated IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators and caregivers to support classroom integration and generalization of skills
- Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and district standards
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide input for student success strategies
