Speech Language Pathologist in Humble, TX
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a school district in Humble, TX. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to students across multiple grade levels within a school setting. The position is set to begin as soon as possible and will extend through May 22, 2026.
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing individualized intervention plans for students with speech and language challenges. Candidates will work with diverse student groups, including middle school students (grades 5-6), self-contained classrooms for grades 7-8, as well as smaller groups in grades 9 and other specialized programs. Collaboration with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals is essential.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid CCC-SLP certification and eligibility for school-based SLP roles
- Experience in school settings, particularly with middle and high school populations
- Skilled in working with a range of speech and language disorders
- Ability to manage caseloads within diverse classroom environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
