Your focus will be on empowering approximately 30-50 students, ages 11-17, across two campuses (middle and high school). By fostering communication and language development, you'll play a crucial role in students' academic and social success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license or eligibility in New Jersey
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or new graduates under professional supervision all welcome
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but energetic new grads encouraged!
- Strong interpersonal abilities, organizational skills, and a passion for student growth
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to middle and high school students individually and in groups
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for holistic student support
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate progress documentation
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
