Speech Language Pathologist in Elizabeth, NJ

Candidates will support students aged 11-17 across two locations, providing services essential to their academic and communication success.
You’ll work 2-3 days per week, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, making it a perfect role for those seeking a part-time schedule while still making a significant impact. The caseload features approximately 30-50 students and offers experience with a diverse range of communication needs. Both clinical fellows (CFY) and fully certified (CCC) Speech-Language Pathologists are encouraged to apply and will be welcomed in a collaborative setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible licensure as an SLP in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status preferred
- School-based, adolescent, or pediatric speech therapy experience a strong asset
- Ability to work across multiple school sites as assigned
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language therapy for students aged 11–17
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and document student progress toward goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Provide input and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support positive student outcomes and inclusive learning environments
