Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field required
- Current licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP in California
- Accepting SLPs with CCC or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with K-12 populations strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Deliver speech therapy through both direct interventions and consultative (indirect) services
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support students’ progress
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support
