Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Paso Robles, California
This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage in a K-12 school setting. The position is based in San Luis Obispo, CA, serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. The role is part-time, with 21 hours per week over three days, covering maternity leave from October through mid-December 2025 (until winter break).
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and participating in IEP meetings
- Delivering direct speech therapy services to students with varying disabilities
- Providing indirect support such as consultation and collaboration with educational staff
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC) or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification
- Experience working in school-based settings with children from Pre-K to 12th grade
- Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Skilled in providing therapy services tailored to diverse communication needs
- Comfortable working onsite to support the school community
