Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Parma, MI

This full-time contract position offers up to 40 hours per week and provides hands-on experience across PreK-12th grade, with a primary focus on early childhood intervention and development. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred; confidence in supporting PreK–12th grade (especially early childhood) students
- Applicants presenting a Clinical Fellowship must arrange for supervision
- Comfortable working onsite; remote or virtual (VOCO) work is not an option for this role
What You'll Do:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to students across grade levels, with an emphasis on early childhood caseloads
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within the school environment
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Track progress, maintain detailed documentation, and contribute to ongoing evaluations of student needs and outcomes
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students, building strong relationships and fostering inclusive learning environments
