Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity available in Palo Alto, CA, within a school setting on a contract basis. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to students, supporting their communication development through tailored therapy plans.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation outcomes
- Delivering targeted therapy sessions to support speech and language goals
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting patient progress with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care
- Engaging families to involve them actively in the therapy process and educate them on techniques and progress
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Active license approved by the state Speech Language Pathology Board in the respective state
