This rewarding contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about helping K-12 learners succeed. You'll be joining an energetic team to support students at two confirmed schools, with potential for additional placements based on available assignments.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida SLP license at the master's level (CFYs welcome; SLPAs not eligible at this time)
- Experience or coursework in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse elementary and middle school populations
- Willingness to work on-site at assigned campus locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and provide direct therapy services to students per IEP requirements
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and fulfill compliance standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student progress
Position Details:
- Contract assignment beginning August 10, 2026, through May 27, 2027
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Primary placements at a middle and elementary school; assignment details finalized at hiring
- Caseloads will vary, encompassing a mix of age groups
