A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a contract position located in Santa Clarita, CA, serving students in grades K-6. This role involves providing direct and indirect speech therapy services within the school setting, ensuring that each student’s communication needs are effectively addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Deliver both direct and indirect therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification.
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably in school settings.
  • Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work 37.5 hours per week during the school calendar.
