School Speech Language Pathologist - Oxnard, California
Make a difference in the lives of high school students by supporting their communication growth in a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you’ll focus on providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for students requiring speech and language services. You’ll utilize SIRAS as the IEP platform, streamlining documentation and planning, while enjoying the benefit of no Medicaid billing responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Active SLP license with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid California CTC credential required
- Previous experience in a high school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and confidence using digital platforms, especially SIRAS
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for high school students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Complete and manage IEP documentation using SIRAS
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Provide direct and consultative services in both individual and group settings
- Attend and contribute expertise to IEP meetings
