Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP for the upcoming school year
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Familiarity with school-based caseloads and IEP documentation processes
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide effective therapy to a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress and goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, student planning, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Offer consultation and support for classroom strategies that promote communication success
