Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP or eligibility to obtain prior to your start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows may also be considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and faculty
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement customized therapy plans to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other professionals to support educational goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing progress updates and recommendations
- Educate and support families regarding students’ communication needs and progress
