Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students ranging from 10-55 per day, depending on scheduling (typically 1 day with 10-12 students, 5 days with 50-55 students).
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with parents and school personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all state and district policies relating to speech therapy services.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathology license is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working in school settings is highly valued.
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours based on candidate preference.
- Ability to travel up to one hour to serve different districts within the cooperative, which include Emporia SD, North Lyon County, South Lyon County, Chase County, Madison, Hamilton, and Morris County.
Location: This position requires onsite presence across various school districts within approximately an hour of Emporia, KS, allowing candidates to live within a reasonable commuting distance.
